In the center of
historic downtown, GCSU’s campus is a beautiful
blend of old and new. |

Parks Hall is the main
administration building at GCSU. |
Anywhere
you need to go on campus and downtown is an easy walk. The fountain in front
of the College of Arts & Sciences Building (where all MFA classes are
held) is a campus landmark.

Historic downtown features
taverns and restaurants, shops and more. Grab a cappuccino at Blackbird Café
while you work on your laptop, or meet friends at the Brick or Amici for a break. You can find pizza and sandwiches,
sushi, Mexican, or fried pickles (you either love ‘em
or you don’t!) |

If
you like snow, then you probably won’t like Milledgeville, where “winter”
high temperatures are usually in the 50’s or 60’s and you almost never need an
overcoat! Students often sit outside to read or study throughout the academic
year.
May
graduation takes place on GCSU’s beautiful front
campus. |
