Poetry “Constructive
Criticism of Bathroom Wall Scribbling” was published in Backwards City Review in the spring of 2005. “After
the Demolition Derby” is forthcoming in Bloom
magazine. Miller’s poem was
among the portfolio of poetry selected for a 2005 Ruth Lilly Poetry
Fellowship from the Poetry Foundation. “Hunger
Was Coming” was published in Ploughshares. Minal’s poem was among
only 40 chosen for the “Emerging Writers” issue. “Pretend
You Don’t Owe Me a Thing” was originally published in Rattle. “What
We Learn From Our Teachers” was commissioned for the inauguration of GCSU
President, Dorothy Leland, Fall 2004.
